There lives a man whose shelf is full

Of books he's never read.

With rumored facts he judges life,

To ignorance he's been wed.

Bright Side of the Moon

He wrote a song and sang it to me. He sang about insanity. The lunatic, he said, my fate decreed, then ran to hide it on the dark side of the moon. He wrote some words and spoke them to me. Lunacy is hard to see. The lunatic, he said, had paid a fee, in a fiendish play on the dark side of the moon. So, he placed Himself in front of me, all while the lunatic was running free. Then he placed the loon under lock and key, and banished him to that dark side of the moon. A new name was written and given to me. From insanity I’d been set free. Now, with heaven’s guarantee, I rest at last on the bright side of the moon.
